Chris Brown rarely gets a fair rap from the media. However, there’s no denying his latest good deed.
With new album ‘Royalty’ set to land in stores on December 18th, the R&B chanteur has announced a unique pre-order incentive.
Details below…
To celebrate the LP’s pre-order availability, C. Breezy took to Instagram over the weekend to announce:
“The holidays are all about giving back, so this Christmas, from now until Christmas, if you order the album, pre-order the album, one dollar of every album sold will go to Children’s Miracle Network hospital. So please do your part. Give back!”
Kudos!
Beyond the mentioned charity angle, let’s be frank – this is a smart means of drumming up sales.
We’re all for it, though. The LP is titled after his 18-month old daughter and – despite enjoying much of the material we’ve heard thus far – we have been scratching our heads at the thematic tie-in between the project’s name and the music (see: ‘Liquor’ / ‘Back to Sleep’).
This family/charity focus certainly helps align things in ways the material doesn’t.
