As reported, Kanye West‘s seventh album ‘The Life Of Pablo’ finally landed online today – via TIDAL.
The long-awaited LP had been marred by a number of speed-bumps prior to its arrival on the Jay Z streaming platform – including a series of delays and name changes.
And, despite being made available for consumption, the randomness of the rollout hasn’t stopped.
Details below…
Taking to Twitter minutes ago, Yeezy revealed that ‘The Life Pablo’ will stay a TIDAL exclusive and that it won’t be available to buy anywhere else for another seven days:
Earlier today, fans of the rapper who wanted more than the stream quickly learned that they would have to pay a whopping $20 to purchase the LP from the “TIDAL store.” The price point perplexed many as it’s double the cost of an average release and, to make matters worse, is solely digital.
Between Ye and his comrade Rihanna, it’s as if they’re playing a game of “who can have the messiest rollout.” It’s almost like self-sabotage at this point.
