And it begins!
The international clean-up campaign for Rihanna‘s ‘ANTI’ album kicks off today. For it has been announced that the Barbadian diva will be gracing the stage at the BRIT Awards 2016.
Details below…
Organisers for the February 24th London event (which is the UK equivalent of the Grammys), revealed the news early this morning:
Confirmation comes as ‘ANTI’ looks set to become one of the model’s lowest chart openings in the UK. Per mid-week data, it’s eyeing the #5 slot on the Official UK Album Chart and is estimated to shift just 15,000 copies first week.
Will fRih be able to turn it around? If that’s plausible anywhere, it’s in England and Europe more broadly – as she’s arguably more popular in Europe these days than most places.
She does have her work cut out for her, though.
Beyond a Grammy performance, the BRITs showing will come just two days before she kicks off her ‘ANTI World Tour’ back in the States.
The BRIT Awards 2016 airs live from London’s O2 Arena on February 24th.
