Rihanna‘s power on the U.K. charts has been reignited by her new single ‘Work.’
Good news below…
Her performance at last week’s BRITs pushed the Island-inspired bop to #2 on the Official Charts, nudging it one step closer to the #1 spot.
That position is currently occupied by Lukas Graham‘s ‘7 Years‘ but may find a friend in Rihanna’s cut if interest in it rises in the coming week.
However, she has serious competition.
For, blasting into the Top Ten is Coldplay and Beyonce’s ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ which has its sights set on the same spot after rising by seven spots in a single week.
The release now sits just eight places away from snatching the #2 spot from ‘Work’ and four places above the Tinashe-backed cut ‘All My Friends’, led by Snakehips.
Elsewhere, Drake‘s ‘Hotline Bling’ slips two spots closer to being pushed out of the Top 50 after falling to #48 as Little Mix‘s scorching BRITs performance sends their hit single ‘Black Magic’ ten spots higher than it was last week.
It now sits at #60.
