It took 90 days for Beyonce to complete her latest visual project ‘Lemonade.’

The star can trace her lineage to the state to the year 1765, the year her ancestor Joseph Broussard settled following his departure from present-day Haiti.
Keen to honour her familial ties to the land, the star set ‘Lemonade‘s story in the state much to the delight of its inhabitants.
For, 300 of them were employed to help her complete the visual, seeing them enjoy a piece of the $1.35 million she used to complete it.
