Its big budget video and insanely infectious hook makes Iggy Azalea‘s ‘Team’ one of 2016’s more exciting new releases.
Alas, that’s done little to stop the single from slipping and sliding its way out of the Billboard Hot 100.
Full story below…
Azalea’s new set ‘Digital Distortion’ is expected to find its way to retailers this summer, and fans had hoped ‘Team’ would rock and roll on the Billboard Hot 100 to support its commercial journey.
Unfortunately, it seems those hopes have been shattered after the cut slipped 29 places on the Billboard Hot 100 less than a fortnight after its release.
Its current position?
#71.
Marking her first single to be launched without a featured act since the release of her debut album ‘The New Classic‘, ‘Team’ followed the release of the buzz cut ‘A Zillion’, and much to the surprise of its supporters, is faring so poorly in the U.S. that not even the streaming figures its visual has garnered are enough to guarantee it won’t slip out of the tally in the weeks following this one.
