As the next in line to inherit a throne currently occupied by Beyonce, the pressure is on Tinashe to deliver the goods with her second studio LP ‘Joyride.‘
So, determined to ensure she impresses those who are eager to see her win, she has decided to pull the plug on her ‘Joyride World Tour’ to complete the album.

The promising Pop princess shared:
It is with a heavy heart that I come with the news that due to unexpected recording commitments I need to postpone my upcoming international tour. Originally, I had planned this tour in support of Joyride, and as you know, the album has yet to be released. My two biggest loves are music and my fans, and it is never my intention to disappoint anyone. I know there has been some confusion in regards to my album’s release date. Trust me, I am as eager to get it out to you as you are to hear it. I will be wrapping up the finishing touches on Joyride by the end of May, and will be back on the road shortly thereafter to see all of you.If you know anything about me, you know this was the last thing I would ever want to do.
‘Joy’ is still yet to receive a release date and is led by the cuts ‘Player’ and ‘Party Favours’ which, despite the warm reception they received from critics, failed to fly commercially.
Though the project’s era has been concerning for fans, supporters of the Pop royal Rihanna will know that Tinashe’s supporters shouldn’t be too concerned.
For, Rihanna didn’t become Rihanna until her third studio album, ‘Good Girl Gone Bad.’
So, should Tinashe use the next year to work with creatives to carve out a superstar-threatening lane for herself, there’s no reason she won’t reach her full potential on all fronts.
Will it happen with ‘Ride’? We doubt it.
However, those who may have written her off should remember that Rome, much like Beyonce, Janet, Britney or Madonna, wasn’t built in a day…or album.
