Published today, the latest issue of the Billboard 200 reveals that Queen Bey rules atop of the tally.
Per Nielsen Soundscan’s data, the set opened with sales of 653,000 (485,000 of which are pure sales, with the remaining numbers coming courtesy of TIDAL streams).
The feat sees Beyonce become the only act to reach #1 with their first six studio albums – and, crucially, the only to artist to debut in the top spot with said releases (rather than climb after release).

‘Despite its unorthodox Saturday roll-out on HBO and 24 hour TIDAL exclusivity, Lemonade’ has achieved the biggest first week debut of any album in 2016.
