Lauryn Hill Booed After Turning Up 2 Hours Late For Atlanta Concert

Published: Saturday 7th May 2016 by Sam

Lauryn Hill‘s live legacy continues to take a battering.

The critically praised singer has fallen foul of fan favour in recent years after a number of concert no-show’s and chronic lateness. Last night saw the latter occur again – this time in Atlanta.

Full story below…

The 40 year old Fugees star did play the show at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in the ATL, but was greeted by boos upon taking to the stage — because, according to attendees, she arrived two hours late.

To make matters worse, her set’s sound was cut short at 11pm due to the venue’s curfew.

Naturally, Twitter had no chill and the floodgates of shade were broken….

Mess.

Given that Lauryn has not released noteworthy material since ‘The Miseducation,’ one would assume her live stage game would be a well-oiled machine. Instead, her antics are becoming dry and tiresome.
