The rate Rihanna has set and/or broken Hot 100 records in her short, yet accomplished career is literally astounding.
Just three months after we reported the ‘We Found Love‘ singer found her name beside pop icons Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson for number of top 10 hits amassed over their respective careers, it appears now, thanks to her new single ‘This Is What You Came For’ with Calvin Harris, Ri leaves them both in the rearview.

The chart above was published the week ‘Work,’ the official lead single from her 8th album ‘Anti,’ reached its first rung on the top 10 ladder. It later went on to an impressive 9 week run at #1, giving the songstress her 14th chart-topper.
Now, just three months later, Billboard reports:
[With ‘This Is What You Came For’] Rihanna scores her 28th Hot 100 top 10, tying Stevie Wonder for the fourth-most all-time. Madonna leads with 38, followed by the Beatles (34) and Michael Jackson (29). Rihanna breaks out of a tie with Mariah Carey, Elton John and Janet Jackson, each with 27.
With this, in addition to being the only woman of color to have a #1 single this decade, Rihanna now holds the record for most top 10 singles for any woman of color. Congrats!
