Alicia Keys is hoping to heat up the summer with the release of her sixth studio album.

The campaign kicked off with the debut of buzz cut ‘In Common,’ which received rave reviews – but didn’t scale the charts as perhaps hoped.

Still, having attended a recent showcase staged by the singer we know she has a number of ace cards up her sleeve. One of which is the haunting ‘Hallelujah.’

Select promotional spots, such as SNL, have seen her perform the track. However, she springs a Friday surprise with the premiere of the studio version.

Though sparse, this packs quite the spark.

Its minimalism, both from a production and vocal standpoint, allow for the lyrics to both lead and engage.
