The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony is to take place on August 28th of this year but has already managed to give fans of the Urban Pop manufacturer Beyonce cause to rejoice.

The ‘Lemonade’ vocalist has bagged 11 nominations this year, the most she has ever secured in her career thanks to the music videos the aforementioned visual LP delivered in the April of this year.
As it stands, she now sits just five awards away from becoming the most awarded act in MTV Video Music Awards history. Should she succeed in picking up these songs, her wins would see Madonna (who is currently the most awarded artist in VMA history) forced to abdicate her crown.
