With many in the Black community anguished following the killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the hand of police officers, celebrities are speaking up and out.

Pop rebel Pink is the latest to speak up and speak out. As, as ever, she didn’t mince her words.

See what she had to say below…

Singer #Pink on #BlackLivesMatter movement. ✊?✊?✊?✊?✊?

How many people had to die befor Pink realized there was a problem. I am sick and tired of these opportunists.

The violence in America needs to stop, period. There has been too much death, from Chicago, to mass shootings, to police brutality, to violence against the good cops. Something needs to be done.

    • King B July 8, 2016

“Something need to be done”. These celebrities are doing what they can do and y’all Navy especially still criticized them. SMH. y’all are the rudest, stupidest fan base ever.

      • LB July 8, 2016

I’m calling out opportunists but in your simple mind you’ve made it a navy thing. GTFO with that simple n**** sh!t

    • King B July 8, 2016

First, the Navy forgot that they called surprise release a gimmick, laughing at TPP sales and now they forgot that they flooded Beyoncé’s last post where they criticized her? Y’all suffer from memory loss is it? Or y’all have split personalities?

      • LB July 8, 2016

Who cares about that fake fav of yours in this thread, this is about violence in America. Stay on topic.

      • UMo July 8, 2016

“this is about violence in America.”

Become the next casualty of it, please…

    • Ughhhh July 8, 2016

How is she being an opportunist? At this point if you can’t accept that someone is speaking up and trying to be for the problem rather than against it shut the f**** up! Her fan base as of now is majority white, if anything she has more to lose than gain. Yea, maybe 12 years ago her fan base was mostly minority, but even then this woman would have gave a f****. Just because someone isn’t constantly talking about or publicly speaking about social issues, doesn’t mean they aren’t very much aware and for helping the cause. People like you kill me. If she didn’t speak out, you would say she is part of the problem; now that she is public and choosing a side, now she is an “opportunist”. People are fûcking dying! If you can’t accept that someone wants to change that, no matter what color they are and you want to bash them because they didn’t come quick enough, then you are part of the problem! Better late than never! She showed up and she is ready to change what is happening in our America. What are you doing? Are you going to silent protes? Are you raising awareness? Are you voting? Or are you one of those people who plays the victim and blames everyone, but literally sits back and does nothing yourself! Fix the problem! And accept others who want to do them same or shut the f**** up! I am sick of people like you!

    • What you say boy!? July 8, 2016

LB as promised your ignorant childish behavior has earned you a get hungup and dragged in every post award! ??
??????you continue to say something full of inbred knowledge. Whoever you Stan for would be highly ashamed to have a ignorant, childish, feverishly stupid fan like you behind them. I cast fire, rath and eternal damnashion upon thy soul. ???Shall you forever be consumed by your ignorance in the lake of fire and brimstone ??????????

As for Pi!nk my white chocolate goddess we gave you your black card from jump street. Honey this is from my ❤️ To you ????❤️

    • ?+✈=? July 8, 2016

She must have an album coming out

      • Ughhhh July 8, 2016

Go drink gasoline. You irrelevant f****

    • XoMoDe July 8, 2016

LOL! Everybody hates LB. IRL he/she/it probably has no friends.

    • Human July 8, 2016

Seriously, can it be possible that celebs know that ppl like you are quick to say “bandwagonists” when they show their support for a cause. Hence why they choose to observe and not publicly voice their concerns. This cause is bigger than you or I, realise that! Instead of being a troll, look at the bigger picture, her voice is bigger than yours and reaches A larger audience.

    • Liam July 9, 2016

You do know P!nk has been at black protest rights in the past right? Just she never brags about what she does for recognition

I swear the USA is the only developed country in the world where the police can kill civilians left and right and nothing happens, there’s way too much division between ethnicities. I’m glad that I returned to Sweden, Europe is above America in every possible way, racism exists here too but black people are treated so much better, African Americans are in a very bad situation, if a black president can’t do anything for his own people then imagine what could the next president do for them since the leader will definitely be white whatever a man or a woman but white, I just don’t understand why can’t Obama do something about it, I just can’t.

    • LB July 8, 2016

Canada is safe too, glad there are still places in the world that are accepting to everyone.

      • S****** Blonde July 8, 2016

Sweden is like a paradise for foreigners, the ones having a rough time here are Middle Easterners and that is because of terrorism but other than that this is heaven.

      • Gurl really? July 8, 2016

Canada accepta everyone gurl? I heard the First Nations people beg to differ on that…. Do your research on how your own country treats/abuses/neglects its own indigenious communities before trash talking the country you look up to…..

      • Word is bond July 8, 2016

Canada is much safer and has open arms to anyone who’s willing to invest in our growth and economy. Every country has its dirty history, and this is coming from a Black Canadian.

      • Word is bond July 8, 2016

Nothing can ever change what happened to First Nations/Aboriginals in NORTH AMERICA period. There’s no division between Canada & USA in that regard. Everything was stolen from them, period.

    • Celine July 8, 2016

Seriously?!? Europe is no ones paradise!!!???? I live in London and we stand in solidarity with our black brothers and sisters in America! Racism here isn’t as LOUD as America, but it’s here. #BLACKLIVESMATTER✊?✊?✊?

Its shame that many whites know and want to speak on it but are also afraid or can’t speak on this issue. Reminds me of the many slavery stories I heard where whites were “secretly” helping blacks smh. It’s really a damn shame. But I do salute and commend Pink for posting on this matter. It’s bold and big of her. Kudos!

  4. Sherrele July 8, 2016

Thank you Pink! I command her for speaking up. People need to just stop, we all need to come together. The world is in turmoil right now. All stars, all colors blackandwhite. Together. No more hate, no more crimes, love one another pray for better

  5. Mark111 July 8, 2016

White women are waking up because the same system that excuse the pointless killing of Blacks by cops is the same system that calls their r*** “20 mins of action”.

    • DTG July 8, 2016

You wish you were a white woman, you bleeding rectal wart, you.

      • Mark111 July 8, 2016

Next time use your main account, then MAYBE I’ll burn time tobentertain this.

  6. truthtea July 8, 2016

Really people!?! Bey release a statement and y’all shower her with nothing but praise but criticize P!nk for doing the same? F*ck outta here!

    • What you say boy!? July 8, 2016

?Most of that negative ish comes from the rear end side of LB’s mouth. I say we digitally stone her! ???????????

  7. Danzou July 8, 2016

Uh huh b**** I think the f*** you’d better! The whole reason you’re career is where it’s gotten is because of people of color! I’m not applauding a fish for swimming but I am glad more people are blatantly respecting the movement.

  8. Tina Lord Roberts July 8, 2016

I’m tired of people looking to celebrities for support of social issues. I don’t need Pink, Beyonce or any musician/actor to affirm me, an issue or a movement that I believe in. All I need from them is their work. They can stay out of socio-political commentary. I distrust it. Because half the time it seems like pandering/attention-seeking. Just sing your song or act in your movie. Leave politics to the politicians.

    • BEY>RIH July 8, 2016

Why are so many foolish people against entertainers bringing attention to important matters. Do you not understand there are millions of people who dont pay any attention to politics but can easily be influnced by their fave artist/actor etc. Awareness shouldn’t be limited to political figures who aren’t nearly as famous and influential in culture as some artists. These artists are simply using their platform to get word out on a sickening issue. Im disgusted by trolls on this site and may God bless them.

    • Human July 8, 2016

@TinaLordRobert aren’t celebrities humans also, don’t their opinion matter? They vote just like you and I. They are also entitled to have a say. They just bring about more awareness to a cause across a larger demographic.
