Ciara‘s star has been shining luminously of late.
Indeed, beyond being the face of postmodern love with husband Russell Wilson, the R&B stunner has been juggling a growing list of endorsement deals.
The newest saw her promote Women’s Equality Day in partnership with Keds.
To plug the initiative, the 30-year-old spoke with WWD.
During the chat, she also opened up on her upcoming 7th album, as well as her thoughts on contemporaries such Beyonce and Rihanna.
Peep quotables below…
On Her New Album:
“I’m working on my new album and I’m taking my time. It’s important that I express my vision. It’s super exciting. I’m just making sure I take my time to do it right for my fans.”
On Which Female Singers She’s Enjoying:
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Alicia Keys. I think all of the women are rocking— Beyoncé, Rihanna. I love Andra Day. J.Lo, she’s hot. If I could just look as good as that…she’s killing it to me.” {Source}
While some folk will be surprised (given Ci and Rih’s history), it’s great to see Ms. Wilson championing camaraderie.
As for the album, we’re ready!
