Less than one month remains until Lady Gaga unleashes her fifth studio album ‘Joanne.’
Due October 21st, the set serves as singer’s first solo release since 2013’s ‘ARTPOP.’ It also stands as the follow-up to 2014’s Grammy winning duet LP with Tony Bennett, ‘Cheek To Cheek.’
Preceded by lead single ‘Perfect Illusion,’ the project is named after the superstar’s late aunt – from who she says she draws strength. It’s also her own middle name.
With its all-star line up of collaborators including Mark Ronson, Beck, and Florence Welch, ‘Joanne’s official tracklist awaits below…
I think Gaga should have known that Perfect illusion wasn’t a good first single but let’s see how the rest of this era plays out
Totally agree with you and she should of collaborated with beyonce again or Rihanna , sia, drake, the weekend for this album the first single is very disapointing .
Why collaborate with artists that everyone else is collaborating with? I’m not a fan any any means but she should be confident in her music working alone without collaboration after collaboration, especially with regularly used artists
Flop!!
i always hate it when artists release an album which only consists of a few tracks…especially after waiting so long.
I actually prefer for an album to have less tracks because when it’s too many, you lose interest fast. Views is a great example
@Bb8345 true but I think it depends. cause when R. Kelly relesed his album R. and Janet release her janet album with all those tracks I was love lol
An album is much like a book. It should be as long as however long it needs to be until the story is told.
Same. And it usually cuts out the filler.
I feel the same way. If an artist takes an excessively long break in between album releases I think they owe the fans 15+ tracks.
Perfect example would be Christina, every album since Stripped has been 20+ tracks (minus Lotus because that album doesn’t exist to me lol) and I love that because it’ pretty much two albums and I feel full musically. But that’s just me. But ultimately it just depends on the album and if it’s good start to finish.
Only 11 songs on the standard edition. Usually song titles makes me interesting but none of these are particularly interesting.
I love albums that have 11-12 tracks… Makes them feel like gems if it all solid material and no fillers… However, Perfect Illusion sounds like a filler so I don’t think this is going to be one of those albums.
I agree also from a financial standpoint of you didn’t do huge numbers w your last effort (it costs additional money to do more than 12 tracks)
Can’t wait to hear what her new sound will be.
I’m supporting her she’s toned it down and yet people are still complaining ??
I just feel like its going to leak next hopefully not
side note: not comparing but gaga always favored madonna to me around the early 90s when she had the cone bra and pony tail
Yaaasssss gaga gonna f*** my b**** with this record!
Look forward to listening!
Sounds, Mediocre.
Sounds? LOL You´re a proper hater with no arguments. Not that if it is great you are going to accept it anyway. But “sounds”? Have you listened to it already? 🙂
I like a lot of songs on the album. .at least 15…give me my money’s worth
1ST time buying gagas stuff, but liked the 1st single.
I can’t wait
Nice tracklist songs
With 18 tracks on Glory, why would I need a lot on the Gaga album. But girl you needed to do an Ariana/Britney/Rihanna and demote that lead single to a buzz track.
How did Make Me do Hun? Even after a vma performance didn’t it leave iTunes top 100 that fast? Lol FFS slayed that try hard mess and you know it
Another ‘s mark ronson influence on the album like Back to Black of Amy the album contains 10 songs.
I prefer to have 10 songs rather than 18 bad songs.
Music, Bad, control, butterfly all theses albums are masterpiece and contains not more than 12 songs.
album with more than 14/15 songs makes no sense, only album fillers
I cannot believe Florence is actually going to be on the album. I mean her vocals. So anticipating that song. Also the rest of the album really. Perfect Illusion has grown on me a lot although I see why it is not a smass hit single. And I definitely think tehre won´t be any hit songs on the album. She´s not going for that. I think Illusion will perfectly fit in the mood of the album. She´s going for real full albums. And the fact this time there are few songs is a good look and a change from Born This Way and Artpop. She´s definitely more inspired than ever from rock and indie this go around. I guess Beck “only” cowrote one of teh songs with her but didn´t put his vocals.
A has-bern. Just retire!
