Lady Gaga is gearing up for the release of her ‘Perfect Illusion’ video – which now has official premiere date.
The Ruth Hogben production is the first visual offering from the singer’s fifth studio album ‘Joanne’ – due October 21st.

Moments ago on Instagram, Mother Monster revealed that the vid will launch on Septemeber 20th during the premiere of FOX’s ‘Scream Queens.’
It’s unknown whether the ‘Perfect’ video will be serviced during an ad break or embedded within the actual show; the latter isn’t too far-fetched given that it’s the same Ryan Murphy who directs ‘Queens’ who directs Gaga in ‘American Horror Story.’
If indeed that’s the case, it would be particularly cool and further highlight how Ms. Germonatta continues to push the envelope.

I really don’t hear what others do who are salivating over this song? Maybe it’s just because it’s a new Gaga song and they’ll salivate over anything she does? I can appreciate that she’s showcasing her voice more this time around however I feel like the song itself is missing something.

I wasn’t crazy over the song either but i totally get why people love it. I particularly love her raw rough vocals in it. And if u listen to the format, its in line with Gaga earlier work. It’s a good mash between old and new!
By the looks of everything it will be a simple video. Which I think fits the whole project from the things we know: Beck and Florence on the album, the title and the simple cover (which reminds you of a rock-indie star), the not excesive promo at all and so on.
I really like how our campaign is rolling out. They aren’t dragging it along and killing the anticipation. Everything so far has been on point. I just hope this video isn’t as tone down as the album cover. She needs to find a sweet spot for her visuals this era. Not too over the top but still the creativity to love from her.

I love the sunset, and the cinematography looks great from that short clip. Will the video have instant replay ability? Will it be able to take the song to the #1 spot? Will it be the visual to save her career? Only the product and time will give us the answer.

Not really into Gaga, but her rollout definitely has my interest.
Might wanna hurry up with that. It fell out of the top 10 on iTunes early this morning and plummeted to #16 since then. At this rate it’ll be out of the top 20 by tomorrow. Not doing that well on streaming either.

He always comments on how her albums sales are struggle, talks how her #1s are undeserved are thanks to payola (even though none of singles from Anti did well on Pop radio), calls her talentless etc. Even your fave Ariana can sell out arenas all over the world, yet his ‘legendary’ Mariah struggles with amphitheatres and Jlo shits on her in Vegas (she is a talentless puppet too according to him).
