In an interview the ‘Undisputed’ platform, Weezy addressed his battle with the Cash Money boss.
There, he revealed that his tweets about retirement were born out of the stress their feud has forced him to endure.
I was at my tipping point [because of] an argument. This is business. Once business is involved, I have a family, I have kids, I have a mother, and we’ve got bills. This is business so once the business is right, then everything is right.
He now says said tweets shouldn’t worry fans who fear they’ll never hear new music from him again.
If that was at 3:30 a.m. I probably was at the studio at 6. The height of my talent or the height of my career, I haven’t reached that at all.
What he had to say when asked if he could reconcile with Birdman?
No, sir. Give me mine and I’ll walk off free, smiling.
