Usher‘s ‘Hard II Love’ album campaign train pulled into BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge today.

Backed by a full band, the seasoned superstar delivered a dynamic setlist comprised of familiar hits such as ‘Climax’ and ‘You Go It Bad.’ He also served up current single ‘Crash’ and a spirited cover of ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ by The Chainsmokers.

We really enjoyed the stripped back version of ‘Crash,’ for not only did the lyrics penetrate more, the enduring quality of Usher’s voice really shone. That controlled falsetto was flawless.
