As reported, Adele appears in the newest issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
What the stunning cover shot doesn’t reveal is that the ‘Hello’ label-mate receives a feature intro from idol and label-mate Beyonce.
It makes for a compelling read, given that the British songbird cites Bey as “my Michael Jackson” within the same interview feature.
So what did Mrs Carter, who doesn’t “do” interviews these days, have to say?
Find out below!
“When Adele sings you can hear that it’s coming from an unfiltered honesty and purity. She creates songs that go deep and expose pain and vulnerability with her soulful voice. She takes you places other artists don’t go to anymore—the way they did in the ‘70s.”
Reflecting on the 28-year-old’s personality, Queen Bey added…
“It is so easy to talk to her and be around her. She’s funny as hell and her comebacks are legendary. The most beautiful thing about Adele is that she has her priorities straight. She is a gracious woman and the most humble human being I’ve ever met.” [Source]
We love us some camaraderie, especially when expressed between two titans of talent. There’s also something innately Old Hollywood about they approach their stardom that is uber warming.
All we need now is that collaboration. Grammys, perhaps?
