Set to tape Dec. 2nd and air on Dec 5th, ‘VH1 Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night’ concert special takes place at the Kings Theatre in Mimi’s hometown of New York.
A full-circle moment for the star, her appearance will serve as her third time participating after two prior stints. A run which includes the extravaganza’s 1998 debut.
Speaking in a statement, the newly-single songstress said:
“I’m thrilled VH1 asked me to return to the DIVAS stage this year. The DIVAS special offers a wonderful opportunity to perform for my fans over the holidays, which is my favorite and most festive time of year.”
The gig joins a full plate of promotion for the 46-year-old, who is uber busy this Holiday season. Indeed, she has the premiere of her E! docu-series ‘Mariah’s World’ and a run of Christmas concerts at the Beacon Theater; both of which also kick off in December.
