Scribbled in history books for some good and not-so-good reasons, 2016 brought with it some of modern music’s most memorable moments.
As the year draws to a close, TGJ is reflecting on 31 moments that rocked – and to some degree shaped – the Urban and Pop musical landscape as we know it.
Now, after reflecting on the many L’s of her nemesis, Azealia Banks, we’ll revisit the L’s 2016 dished out to Grammy-nominated rapstress Iggy Azalea:
2014 and 2015 dealt rapper Iggy Azalea some crushing blows (see: plans for stadium tour falls flat, unrelenting attacks from some of rap’s most respect names, monthly Twitter beefs, and more). Sadly, 2016 was no less forgiving.
