Mary J. Blige has put plans in place to retrieve a Grammy award from her estranged husband Martin Isaacs after he is said to have refused to hand it over to her.
Full story below…
The couple announced that they were consciously uncoupling earlier this year, and their split inspired much of the material on Blige’s forthcoming album.
This week, before its release, Mary has filed legal documents she hopes will force Martin to deliver a number of items they once shared as a couple.
According to the documents, Martin has 3 cars, including a Range Rover he was supposed to return in February. There are also 2 Mercedes: a C300 and an SL550. Mary wants the C class back, but says he can keep the SL.
The ‘Thick Of It’ singer also claims that he owes her $420,000.
For what? Formerly her manager, Isaacs is said to have taken this amount from Mary to fund businesses which had little to do with her career.
Should she get her way, the star will have all of the items above (and a Grammy award) delivered to her in the coming months.
