It’s here!
Lady Gaga has unveiled the long-awaited video for ‘Million Reasons’ – the second single from her chart-topping new album ‘Joanne.’
The visual picks right up after the end of the clip for ‘Perfect Illusion,’ which itself debuted in September.
Its worldwide premiere on MTV comes after a slew of promotional performances globally.
With the track in an odd predicament (see: a fixture on the iTunes top 10, but in need of radio and streams), has its video arrived right on time?
Watch below and let us know…
We love us some Gaga, but what was that?
Because from where we’re sitting we just watched 4 minutes of “missed opportunity.”
For an artist so revered for her visual output, it’s odd to see her effectively squandering what has historically been her strongest card.
It’s one thing releasing a solid but polarizing album, but so-so visuals back-to-back?
Disappointed. Especially given the “hit” potential embedded in ‘Million Reasons.’
This deserved a ‘Hello’ esque effort, but instead felt like it was hastily thrown together.
Again, disappointed.
