Twelve Never-Before-Seen Beyonce Videos On Sale For $3 Million

Published: Sunday 4th Dec 2016 by David

Beyonce has learned that never-before-seen visuals unearthed from her videography’s vault have been unearthed…and are to be sold at auction.

Twelve tapes recorded of Beyonce during her time in the group Girls Tyme have been obtained by the auctioneers Ted Owen and Co.

Their plan?

To sell each and every one of them at auction with bids which sit around the 3.8 million dollars mark.

Shot after the singer Keke Wyatt left the group, the videos of Tyme (formerly known as The Dolls) see a ten-year-old Knowles-Carter in rehearsals alongside Destiny’s Child‘s founding member LaTavia Roberson as they prepare for a live music showcase in San Francisco.

How the auctioneers got their hands on the tape remains a mystery.

What industry insiders do know is that the auction for the hidden tapes kicked off on November 29th and ends on 10th January 2017.

Ted and Co explain:

This is a unique opportunity to acquire rare and original archival footage and witness the beginning of what we know to be Beyonce’s incredible journey to superstardom.

Quite interestingly, the unearthing of these videos comes after Lifetime are said to have set their sights on a Beyonce biopic which will reportedly document her meteoric and occasionally turbulent rise to the top.

‘Dish Nation‘ reported in September:

Lifetime have enjoyed huge hits with their biopics especially on pop culture – and they think Beyonce has the potential to be another one. No-one has yet managed to create a drama about Beyonce’s astonishing rise from a dreamer in Houston to one of the greatest artists of all time, through family sacrifices, group fights and her rollercoaster love life with Jay Z…and Lifetime feel they should be first.”
“But their difficulty is getting an actress, who can sing and dance like Bey, to look, sound and act the part. They want the leading star to be as convincing as possible rather than getting hate from her fans.
“It is a delicate position for the network. If they make the film a critical acclaimed drama then they can score huge ratings and achieve global sales too. But if it they don’t, then that will be a PR disaster
