The countdown is officially on to the 2017 Grammy Awards – music’s biggest calendar night.
So, with less than a month to go before the February 12th extravaganza, organisers have announced the first batch of performers.

Per the Recording Academy, John Legend is the first name tapped to perform.
Joining the crooner in the initial list are Rock legends Metallica and Country stars Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.
Sources close to the show assert that producers have bagged Beyonce, who is nominated in earnest.
According to the Grammy team, additional performers will be revealed imminently.
The 2017 Grammys, hosted by James Corden, airs live on CBS Feb 12th at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
