In an age where people throw together music videos with seemingly minimal effort, Missy has – for over 20 years – remained a leader in the visual medium. And, even with a quality video repertoire as extensive of hers she still manages to drop jaws on that front, a measure confirmed by ‘I’m Better.’
Sonically, the song sees Elliott try her hand at the trap sound dominating airwaves. Truthfully, we ain’t mad at it. Giving it her undeniable ‘-isms,’ she doesn’t sound lost or inauthentic in its delivery. For this, we give it an A+!
