Report: Iggy Azalea Eyeing New Management

Published: Thursday 12th Jan 2017 by Sam

Word on the curb is that Iggy Azalea is looking for a new leader for her career.

Dive below for details…

The news comes courtesy of Hits Daily Double, who’ve proven infallible in their ability to hear (and turn the volume up on) industry whispers.

It’s not entirely far fetched either.

Things have been far from smooth sailing for the Australian femcee.

Indeed, after owning the airwaves for much of 2014 into ’15 with smashes such as ‘Fancy’ and ‘Black Widow,’ the rapper saw her stock and popularity dented deeply after a seemingly endless series of social media clashes with respected acts as Snoop Dogg and Q-Tip.

Attempting to embrace the melee and pivot the narrative in her favor, Azalea announced that her sophomore album would be titled ‘Digital Distortion.’

Set for release last summer, said plans were abruptly put on hold when lead single ‘Team’ (which we actually liked) failed to take off…anywhere.

In the interim, to line her pockets while licking her wounds, the 26-year-old signed up as a judge on The X Factor Australia. A move perhaps designed endear her to her home country, while giving the US mainstream a “break” from her.

With another swing of the bat said to be scheduled for this year, could new management be what she needs to give her career fresh perspectives and prospects?
