In breaking news, Beyonce‘s team have confirmed that the singer, who is pregnant with twins, will not be taking to the stage at Coachella.
Statement below…
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
No surprises here. She’s heavily pregnant, hence we’re actually all for postponing. Health first.
A little delayed gratification, especially when it comes to Beyonce, won’t hurt no one.
The timeline is interesting, though.
Come 2018, it’s unlikely (though not impossible) that Bey will still be pushing ‘Lemonade.’ As such, Coachella could (and perhaps should) form part of the launch of album #7. Wishful thinking, perhaps. But it would be cool.
