As we reported here, rapper Big Sean‘s fourth LP, ‘I Decided,’ was on course to top the Billboard 200 if predicted figures were to be believed.
The follow-up to 2014’s chart-topping ‘Dark Sky Paradise,’ Sean’s latest set – featuring the Urban hits ‘Bounce Back’ and ‘Moves’ – has moved critics to wield thumbs up across a number of print and online outlets. And, if the final figures afforded the project are any indication, it looks poised to replicate that success commercially.
Knocking fellow rap act Migos right on out of the stop spot, tuck in below to find out how many units Sean shifted to lay claim to next week’s #1 rung on the Billboard 200:
1st week sales: 151,000
Chart Placement: #1
Big Sean nabs his second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as I Decided. debuts atop the list, earning 151,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Feb. 9, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 65,000 were in traditional album sales. I Decided. was released on Feb. 3 through G.O.O.D./Def Jam Recordings.
