‘Smooth’ maestro Carlos Santana is looking to smooth things over with the #Beyhive after the dedicated fan group of Beyonce stung him for saying their Queen wasn’t exactly ‘a singer.’
Giving his weigh on Bey’s controversial major category Grammy shut-out at this year’s Grammys, losing most of the awards to Adele, Santana caught flack for praising the Brit-born beauty’s talent over Bey’s. Later saying his quote was taken out of context, the legendary guitarist is now hoping his latest quotes bode a bit better with the Beyhive.

Longtime fans of the singer know she’s shared the stage with him in the past (as seen in the video above). Now, it looks like Santana is looking for a redo. Taking to Singapore’s ‘Strait Times,’ he’s quoted saying:
“Not one is more important than the other, they’re both supremely important. Their music and my music serve a purpose, to bring unity and harmony,” the 69-yearold, who has 10 Grammy awards to his name, says in a telephone call from Tiburon, California.
“I don’t think it’s impossible for us to go into the studio and create some beautiful music.”
The statement is a far cry from his sentiments just last month. Click here to read more on that.
