Published: Wednesday 5th Apr 2017 by Sam

More than being a mononym, Beyonce has become a business.

Indeed, her music, touring, fashion, and investment activities have seen her become a staple on the Forbes rich list year in and year out.

But a new report shines light on another layer of her power – social media.

For, new data has uncovered Mrs Carter as the ‘Most Influential Star On Social Media.’

Find out why below…

The freshly published D’Marie Analytics Reports says the following of Queen Bey:

“One Facebook post by Beyonce is worth more than $1 million in advertising, more than any celebrity on earth.”

It continues…

“Queen Bey is now the most valuable personality on social media, a feat that’s even more impressive when you consider she’s only the 22nd most followed person online.”

So how is this so?  Frank Spadafora, chief executive of D’Marie, explains:

“[Beyonce’s] success is largely due to the authenticity she manages to convey to her fans. She rarely puts up posts that are overtly commercial, instead recently favoring pics of herself with daughter Blue Ivy Carter and informational pieces celebrating Black History Month. A recently unveiled image of her baby bump also overtook a Selena Gomez Coke ad to become the most-liked Instagram post of all time. “Her limited release of exclusive, curated content…causes such frenzy from her audience. These days, less really is more.”

Riveting stuff.

For yours truly, the appeal of Beyonce has always been two-fold. On the one hand, she’s easily today’s most electrifying performer. And on the other, her brand management is infallible. She and her team have mastered the art of what to give, when to give, and how much to give. Be it related to her professional or private life.

The direct by-product of this is the larger than life status she enjoys today. Many could and, perhaps should, take notes!
