Choreography Video: Tinashe Burns Up the Dancefloor With ‘Flame’

Published: Thursday 6th Apr 2017 by Rashad

Tinashe damn near left a trail of smoke behind her on the dance floor in her latest supporting visual for ‘Flame.’

The Bloodpop & Stargate-produced single, which acts as the official catalyst for the singer’s second official era, ‘Joyride,’ has been winning over critics left and right since its introduction.  Now, in a bid to shift some of that praise up from a commercial standpoint, T has been in full on promo mode.  Less than a week after fans tuned into see her performing the tune on ‘Fallon’ (click here to see that if you missed it), they can catch the teaser for its official music video courtesy of this Jojo Gomez-choreographed unofficial clip.

I love Tin Tin but this song is a no. It’s legit the worst pop song I’ve heard since 2003. It sounds like a knock-off Christina Aguleira track back when she was trying to compete with Britney (y’all remember them days!!). RCA where was the budget and promotion for Party Favors that was 100X better than this bull sh*t?

I love that Tinashe brings us choreographed performances, nowadays most pop tarts can’t dance and I truly miss the times when pop stars slayed a good choreography number. Kudos for her.

Also, I like Flame, but she has way better songs, RCA can’t get it right with this girl.

I really think this record is a suitable pop record that incorporates a variety of elements. Tinashe is a unique artist and it shows her capability of tapping into her artistry. If people did research and checked out her mixtapes such as “Black Water”, “In Case We Die”, “Reverie”, “Amethyst”, “Nightride”, and her debut “Aquarius” she really carves her own lane. “Flame” isn’t some water-down pop record. I really dig it for what it is. For some people who don’t that’s okay. But this chick has substance and I want this new album to be cohesive and I want to have those urban records as well. She needs the promotion and I’m excited for her new material. #TeamTinashe
