Presently starring on (and exec producing) hit NBC drama ‘Shades Of Blue,’ the small screen has been a focus of late.
But that hasn’t halted her musical hustle.
When not filming, J.Lo has been in the lab cooking new material.

I really do root for JLo. I like her so much. But her music is so basic. Sigh. I need that Jenny From the Block. I need that JLo with JaRule. She’s always putting out music that’s just purely dance. I loved her R&B Lane.
Her last album was almost exclusively pure RNB and raper collabs… I’d rather go with her dance jams…

She’s been musically disappointing since Love?, but this sounds fresh, I mean is dance but different from the dance music she has released recently, Skrillex’s sound gives new life to J.Lo the singer IMO but I have to hear the full song to make a proper criticism.

I know people weren’t crazy about “First Love”, but it was different for Jennifer and that’s what she needs more of. This song here is terribly generic.
First Love to me is standard Jlo Sound. It’s an awesome song. Sad that it didn’t do well.
First love was actually that has not been given a chance. I didn’t like it in the first place, but after hearing it a couple times it was quite a spring/summer fave of mine
