The main problem with Nicki is she got too complacent and she has become extremely lazy. She feels like since there is no competition on the sales and impact front with women in rap that she can lack and throw anything together because she knows she will get air play regardless which to me is sad because it is disrespectful to the fans to just give them mediocre work. Her fans deserve better than what she has been given them lately.
I think she forgot that even if she is they female rapper, that there can be NO female rapper out at all doing big numbers. We went years from Missy’s last project to Nicki’s first. And the public can go another 5 years w/o a female rapper doing big numbers. She might not be replaceable, but she can be forgotten and it seems that us the direction she is going down
Her Billboard awards performance was BLAH. She is OVER-RATED. THE ONLY thing she has done great is the Katy Perry Swish cut. Fake Booty, Fake Hair, Fake Skin color and Bleaching, Fake Boobs and Fake personality. FAKE

Nicki is all styling, stunting and no substance…. she is an image that is currently a trend and will be a “remember when” moment in a few years regardless of how many new fangled awards and accolades that she’s given.
Her legacy is on quicksand foundations, based on associates and features but not her own classic hits or innovative branding.
Lauren Hill stays touring off one bad ass album, Lil Kim has classics and an image that was before its time, there is Missy and the original female’s like Mc Lite, Salt & Papa, Monie Love, YoYo and many more who were rapping in a male dominated environment and standing their ground and getting respect and then you have Nicki who things that a big but and smile, a long weave, skimpy dress and cute heels and stiff dance moves is all it takes.
Maybe that’s where things just are in this day and age.
After watching Jamie Kings show reel the one thing that stands out is that the majority of the woman in can dance….. i think there will be a problem.

First thing first her Billboard Awards performance was FAR from stellar. It doesn’t matter whom she em employs, she ain’t no MIchael Jackson so it doesn’t mattter if she used his whole team won’t get the same result. She needs to enlist a team to assist with her declining raps and flow as that is the core of what she’s known for and no beautiful visual can sell a WACK SONG! Hence why ‘No Frauds’ still ain’t on the charts! Another point in case, Katy Perry always has great visuals this ‘Witness’ era included but a Great Visual for a Bad Song is still a Bad Song! Time to humble herself and call Safaree….it doesn’t matter if she’s Pop now and loses her core fan base that allowed her to crossover as we all know Crossover Fame comes and goes but your core fans will carry you long after you’re the Hot Thing of the moment.
