The Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul was snapped at the 2017 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans last night sporting striking braids.

MJB is intimately involved with the spectacle this year. For, beyond performing herself, she has cultivated a “ladies only” night comprised of artists she handpicked. Included on her line-up are Monica and Jazmine Sullivan.
