Little Mix have announced plans to break into the world of film after group member Jade Thirwall lost out on the chance to portray Princess Jasmine in Disney’s live-action ‘Aladdin’ reboot.
Jesy Nelson spoke openly about their plans in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.
We’ve thought about it a lot. We are in talks about it, it has just got to be right. We have got some proper class footage that no one has ever seen. It’s stuff that you’d never see Little Mix be like.
A documentary by the band would support their next album and the era they’d ignite to support it and see them follow in the footsteps of a number of their peers who have also released tell-all movie projects.
She would have been a beautiful Jasmine as well!!
That girl was never in the running to play Jasmine. It was a story started by a British tabloid. As for this movie project, I assume it will be a UK (possibly Australia) only release. We’re not talking the Spice Girls here
They were bigger, but Little Mix are way better than the Spice Girls, they should stay in the 90’s (they have some bops though, I’ll give them that – plus Melanie C has a nice voice).
