Usher‘s name has been a staple in the headlines over the last two weeks following herpes allegations and lawsuits gone public.
In a move many have scratched their heads at, the R&B star has made no comment. At all.
Now, it’s looking as though he may let the music do the talking. Specifically new music.

Could the roll-out of new material be part of Ush’s strategy to detangle himself from the mess he’s in presently? Perhaps.
And if so, there’s some definite upsides and cautionary points to consider.
On the one hand, he definitely has undeniable inspiration to pull from creatively right now – something that’s been lacking since ‘Confessions.’ So, with the right spin and handling, he really could “Olivia Pope” the situation by pivoting it to his…favor.
That said, he’d have to pair any such music with a preceding statement (of some sort) about the matter at hand. Because, it’d be exceptionally difficult to just “let the music do the talking” in a climate when folk are running with the belief that he deliberately was passing on the disease. No Sir.
Time will (hopefully soon) tell how this will all play out.

I think its good for him not to address the h***** allegations , do not issue a statement bcoz it’ll backfire like it did for Kathy Griffin! rather focus on making new music & clean up your act. I cant wait for the new album

Confessions part 2.
…Usher has a diamond album, why would he need to release a “Lemonade”? It took “Confessions” one week to go platinum, it took “Lemonade” 2 or 3 months. And don’t say s*** about a new climate because now we have physical sales, digital sales AND streaming. Plus she’s the queen so it shouldn’t take that long but it does. Even her stans are releasing albums and out selling her.
You failed to mention that Lemonade was tied up in being a TIDAL exclusive before it was released for sale or across multiple platforms for streaming. This led to pirating of the album and a decline in that immediate buzz that the “BEYONCÉ” album got (her last album that sold over 800,000 copies in 3 days, so let’s not tout Usher around like he’s still doing those kinds of #’s). I know the truth may hurt, but this is a “different climate” when it comes to purchasing and consuming music. So much free music has been released it’s hard for people to commit to a streaming service subscription or purchase a week old album without sneaking a free listen to it first.
Lemonade came out at the end of April (2016) & went platinum by the beginning of June. Bey’s LP was still the best selling album of 2016. Confessions came out in 2004, went platinum in a week (went diamond) but was Usher’s last good album. Come on. Who STILL HAS THE CAREER? Who STALLED? Usher needs to do a R&B, Soul, Gospel influenced album. Not Pop, Dance, or Trap music that everybody else is doing. We don’t need to see him dance, or mumble sing. He needs to sang and the GP will forget about his health issues. Side note…. Who cares about any of that? His fans will support him when he comes back home to the music he is supposed to be doing. He is simply white-washed.

He will not speak a word and let people speculate and may be build some anticipation for new music coz JD is master in these things. He made that “Usher Chilli” drama covert into a diamond album. Scooter is doing same s*** he did with Bieber and he has coz H2L sold only 28,000 copies even less than Usher’s debut album.
