she’s officially here…congrats cardi! don’t become an Iggy

I don’t think she will be. Out of all the females that have come out this decade, Cardi has the best shot at being the next Queen of rap. Unlike Iggy, Cardi has built an urban fanbase that can support her whether or not pop ever does. Pop is too fickle and quick to move on to the next one, that’s why Iggy failed.

true…i know cardi picked up a lot of fans lately who are excited about the “cinderealla” feel of her blowing up….hope they stick around once that effect wears off

i think y’all don’t give iggy enough credit though, she had that urban fanbase initially but lost it when she went completely pop and she did not pop long enough to build a solid pop fan base. Iggy had a solid 3 year run.

Cardi should not chase pop in her music, just let pop come to you.
Maybe a few features with pop singers, but stay urban

My girl Nicki performed at the pre show too, and work her way up. nothing is wrong with starting from the bottom up.

Not really a fan of hers but I hope she gets #1.
    Nicki will SEETHE extra hard.
Ps: Only saying this because of the shade thrown by her to Aretha

why you people continue to with this negative narrative, like Nicki is really trying to stop people food. Nicki didn’t throw any shade to Aretha, you are too negative.

She’s gonna get that #1 and I am here for it. I wish it was the main stage but good stuff none the less

she got one of the biggest songs in America right now she should have a spot on the award show, that’s just why MTV always flop in views they don’t have a lot of diversity, people would have definitely tune in for it, but if nicki performing I understand

Nicki has nothing to do with this, Nicki started from the bottom too she was on the pre show too at one point and work her way up, Jesus Christ does you people ever take a break even for a minute from putting Nicki in a negative light. back in the day, Nicki had that new hot too and they still put her on the pree show, having the hottest song doesn’t mean you deserve to be on the main stage are enough to be on the mainstage.
