Is it us or are we the minority of folk who never heard anything about Fergie being in the mix in the first place?
This leads us to believe this may have been purposefully seeded, potentially ahead of a formal announcement or to place her in the running.
Who knows.
Whatever the case, we think Fergie would make a great judge. She has the potent combination of success, personality, and recognisability. We could also see her meshing well with Katy and the other names in contention.
