It’s great to see Mariah making smart musical moves again.
This is a bonafide hit already, with established radio and streaming power. So, rather than always trying put a rapper via her own singles (a practice that doesn’t seem to be working anymore), she’s wisely borrowing some of their momentum for herself. Because, should her version catch on, she gets a hit too.
