While the week’s biggest Hot 100 story is the monstrous success of Taylor Swift‘s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ – a triumph that ended Luis Fonsi‘s attempt at dethroning Mariah Carey‘s all-time record – another historic run came to an end this week as well: Ed Sheeran‘s ‘Shape Of You.’
Lifted from the singer’s latest blockbuster album, ‘Divide,’ the tune had a jaw-dropping 33 week run in the tally’s top 10 that began with its debut at #1 back in January 2017 [click here to read more about that]. Earning a spot in history books for the longest consecutive run in the chart’s upper dectet ever, this week saw ‘Shape’ penciled into its first frame outside of the top 10 since the top of the year.

None of these people are making any impact. Let´s be honest almost all of this stuff is basic and uneventful. Lana del Rey thanks to having a real unique style and a real fan base is making more impact at this point than many of these people on the charts all the time. Despite her lackluster performing skills, she´ll probably be more remembered than them by music lovers.
Stop It.
