The NFL’s use and abuse of black bodies hasn’t gone unnoticed by football fans.
One of them being the rapper J.Cole.
His call to action below…
Colin Kaepernick was blackballed by the NFL for protesting against racism against black people. Ironic, as the league is powered by black people.
If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL,or other leagues, he or she should not be allowed to disrespect….

…our Great American Flag (or Country) and should stand for the National Anthem. If not, YOU’RE FIRED. Find something else to do!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017
I wonder what this BRAVE American would give to stand on his OWN two legs just ONCE MORE for our #Anthem? #MAGA #NFL pic.twitter.com/3AVqnAlu3F

Now, Cole has made a request.
Black people spend a lot of money with NFL corporate sponsors. White people who don’t fuck with white supremacy spend a lot of money too.
— J. Cole (@JColeNC) September 24, 2017
So, next you turn your attention to these sponsors.
— J. Cole (@JColeNC) September 24, 2017
Pick one of the biggest ones and say, “do you agree with black balling players when they speak out against oppression?”
— J. Cole (@JColeNC) September 24, 2017
I respect whatever you decide to do. Watch or don’t watch, whatever’s in your heart. But I’m not watching til it feel right.
— J. Cole (@JColeNC) September 24, 2017
This may be the biggest opportunity we have ever been presented to come together and show the world and ourselves our true economic power.
— J. Cole (@JColeNC) September 24, 2017
Hasn’t watched a game yet, been a Dallas Cowboys fan since “1994” hopefully justices for all will be handle throughout the world ?…
how can anyone feel proud in being American in the first place is beyond me, especially minorities in America, they seek rights and respect, while loving a country that has none for the rest of the world, the US has oppressed literally every country in the world throughout its history. The US manipulates the world at its will, starts wars for its own benefits whenever it feels like, it’s responsible for millions of deaths in the world more than any other country in the history of mankind, even more so than the colonial powers that created it. American leaders are the real dictators of the world. It’s just a f****** song and flag. Americans being offended by this makes me laugh, it’s pathetic, like, aren’t there more important issues to worry about?
America has done some bad things internationally but so has other countries. America has also done a lot of good. We have pioneered medical breakthroughs that have saved countless lives, scientific inventions that have been shared with the world and has increased the quality of life for all, been an example of a society with multiple racial, religious, and ethnic groups living under one flag. We stopped the NAZIS, virtually ended slavery worldwide by our decree against it, we also provide aid for many other countries in times of disaster. And believe me I know of Iraq and all the other coups and assassinations of world leaders, America is no saint but we are an evolving country that has done a lot of good and that is why there are thousands trying to make it here every month and we have to turn away people.
This is so stupid, there are many people who want to see an end to the NBA and the NFL due to protests and the fact they don’t believe that these athletes should be making the money they are making, and are currently boycotting the league now. There are plenty of industries that white people make millions from, look at the former careers of owners, or there stock portfolio. They do not need sports. It is just a hobby. However , the term ballers was coined by the black community because that is who are the wealthy among us. NFL boycott can be good in a sense that when football ends there will be little hope for aspiring football players and many might now aspire to get an “education” that can build a civilization and thus be independent of the largesse of white people, whom I’m sure would not mind. Sports have no real value outside of a capitalistic infrastructure which supports it. A doctor , engineer, chemist is viable in pretty much any environment.
I love Colin but I feel like he learned his lesson and ahould be allowed to play this season. He is a great QB. He did not realize that his brand affects the NFL’s brand. He got the message so let him play!!!
Learned his lesson??
Yes, perhaps me stating “learned his lesson” was a bad choice of words. I was referring to March 2017 when ESPN announced that Colin agreed to stand for the anthem in all future games.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18805744/colin-kaepernick-stand-national-anthem-next-season
The NFL is already losing money due to black people boycotting the games until Colin is hired. Donald Trump is just trying to steal and take credit for our thunder. Donald Trump is now calling for a boycott so he can take credit for the NFL losing money. Donald Trump and the White Supremacy Alt-Right Group is soooooooooooooo jealous of black people, e.g. Donald throws the Black Power Fist, Alt-Right steals our slogan, All Live Matters-Whose Street, Our Street and now Donald is stealing our boycott. I wish the Golden Warriors would have dinner with Barack Obama instead of going to the White House and make Donald Trump’s orange face turn bloody red.
what lesson did he learn? don’t speak up against injustices?
don’t demand better treatment for your people?
black people don’t deserve not to be shot down like dogs?
what lesson did he learn?
He learned that being signed to a NFL team means he cannot go against the NFL brand. He learned that being a football player is the same as being an employee of a company. As an employee you cannot go against your employer’s brand, reputation, policies, or principles. There is NOTHING wrong with fighting against injustices, fighting against racism, demanding fair treatment, and fighting discrimination. However, by doing the aforementioned you risk losing your job when you are an employee instead of the owner of your own company. In March 2017 ESPN announced that Colin agreed to stand for the anthem in all future games. That is why I said he deserves his job back. He should not be blackballed, especially when he is willing to go with the flow of things.
