‘Swish Swish’: Nicki Minaj & Katy Perry Song Storms British Charts

Published: Monday 11th Sep 2017 by David

Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry‘s very first recorded collaboration ‘Swish Swish‘ is on its way to becoming a U.K. Top Ten smash.

Powered by a well-received visual, a scorching verse from Minaj and a fired-up Perry, the song rose seven places on the Official Singles Chart placing it #22 this week…its highest position to date.

Its success should come as little surprise to those familiar with the ladies’ respective chart records.

Perry has bagged 5 #1s in the market since her chart arrival in 2008 while Minaj, whose raked in 11 Top Tens and 256 weeks in the Top 40, sees her music continue to move commendable units in the country.

Miraculous, considering how little she does to capitalise on her popularity in the country.

Now tell them how Nicki turned around & put them both in their place & how quickly they shut their asses up & how the entire crowd cheered for her ??

#22 is very far from being a top 10 hit. We know the Brits have questionable taste. This is the country where Cheryl Cole, Olly Murs and Steps were popular, not to mention the current crop of basic acts like Little Mix and Rita Ora
