What once started as mutual respect between artists apparently turned sour somewhere in the planning of a collabo between rapper Tyler the Creator and One Direction graduate Zayn. Just two years ago the duo were singing each other’s praises on Twitter, even expressing interest in working together:
Fast forward to 2017, it’s pretty safe those feelings have since diminished:
Never one to mince words, Tyler took to Twitter over the weekend to thank fans for supporting ‘See You Again’ – the latest single from his #1 rap album, ‘Flower Boy.’
Shortly after, he took to Twitter to offer a bit of history behind the song. Claiming the song was originally meant for the ‘Pillow Talk’ performer, he alleges the singer was a no-show when it was time to record it.
Ouch! As of time reported, Zayn has not responded to the allegations.
Fans of Zayn know this isn’t the first time he’s reported not shown up to an engagement or cancelled at short notice. If what Tyler says is true, could the singer’s anxiety be to blame?
