Bryson Tiller keeps his buzz a’buzzing with the video debut of ‘Self-Made.’
The clip, which was directed by Colin Tilley, is lifted from the RCA star’s sophomore album ‘True To Self’ and arrives a mere matter weeks after the roll-out of the ‘Runs Dry’ visual.
Beyond a #1 debut on the Billboard 200, the set has yet to yield a hit ala his first “era.” Can the 24-year-old turn things around with ‘Self-Made’? Watch below and let us know…
Meh.
For all the hoopla surrounding Mr Tiller, we’ve yet to be blown away by his increasingly samey offerings.
He’s unique in that he’s an amalgamation of a R&B vocal and a rapper’s aura and aesthetic. Now, all that’s needed is for the music and visuals to be equally compelling.
I love this guy. I don’t know why but his music really connects with me. I agree with the comment about his visuals. But every artist doesn’t have to be a visual artist.
Whatchu even talkimbout, bae is serving visuals for days hunty!
Love the aesthetic, I just wish he’d stop objectifying women so much in his videos, he usually seems more woke than that.
