A $14.5 million defamation lawsuit against Grammy-winning singer Frank Ocean, brought on by his own father, Calvin Cooksey, has been tossed.
Details inside:
As we reported here back in February, Ocean’s father sued for libel after learning his hitmaking son accused him of calling a waitress homophobic slurs. The result? A nearly $15 million lawsuit that, much to the delight of Ocean, is no longer a topic of discussion.
A judge heard the case in L.A. Tuesday, and ruled in favor of Frank … saying Cooksey failed to prove his son had defamed him at all. Frank’s attorney tells us, “It was a sad case, but we are glad that it ended in Frank’s favor and that it is over.”
Gladly!!
Even your own family will do you dirty for money. Glad he won
The shame his old man must feel knowing that his son bends over for other men is worth whatever he was suing for.
