Speaking to the capacity crowd, he told his fellow New Yorker’s:
“I’m the greatest f**king artist of all time. I am on my cocky [Kan]Ye sh*t, whatever the f*ck, suck my d*ck with that, n***a. I’m the greatest contemporary artist of all time, Renaissance, contemporary, all that. I need y’all n***as to know. Granted many (including us) beg to differ, we feel as though more artists would benefit from embracing such self-belief. Far too many are aimlessly going through the motions and wondering why little changes.
As for A$AP; when making such bold assertions, it naturally increases the pressure to deliver with next release.
The MC’s new album, which’ll serve as the official follow-up to 2015′ ‘At.Long.Last.A$AP,’ arrives next year.

You can cheerlead for yourself without lying to yourself. “I’m a great artist” is being your own cheerleader. “I’m the greatest artist of all time” is just being straight up delusional. There are millions upon millions of authors, playwriters, painters, sculpturs, architects, poets, actors, and musicians and more that are greater than him. And that’s not debatable. Acknowledging that other people are more creative, talented, and influential doesn’t make you any less confident. Insecurity is thinking you have to be the greatest to be great. He’s deluded. And so is Kanye.

I really wanted to like him at the beginning. Why are all the s*** guys in Urban music a hot mess? Trey & Chris Brown became a hot mess. Bruno the only one whose not but he’s also Pop & R&B.
