We’re all for here SZA and Solange getting recognition, but Bruno Mars cleaning up for those records is getting old.
It’s not that he isn’t killing it right now, but the industry needs to stop acting like there are no other crooners or male R&B artists in the game besides Chris, Bruno, and Timberlake. Honestly, ‘That’s What I Like’ was basic, Versace sounds like a record Usher, Tank, Mario Winans, etc. have sung many times before. It took BET and Soul Train four albums to recognized as R&B but every time Timberlake, Bruno, and Robin Thicke :cough: SEE NON-BLACK ARTISTS :cough:: throw in a honor section and black songwriter, they get both nominated and win the R&B categories ::SEE 2014 Grammys, where R&B Song of the Year went to Justin Timberlake beating out Fantasia, Anthony Hamilton, Janelle Monae, and Tamar’s Love & War for ‘Pusher Love Girl’, disco album track no one has heard of with a horn section).
Is Bruno killing this year? Yes. Are we getting a bit delusional? Yes. R&B Song of the Year? Let’s not kid ourselves.

sp* it took BET and Soul Train four albums to recognize Jason Derulo as an R&B artist, but Bruno…
Nah congrats Bruno! Great! The same for Solange/SZA/Cardi…
U go woman dont stop can’t lose blessings unto you in jesus name
Big Congrats to Bruno 24K was a dope R&b album so I hope he win a Grammy for it. I had no idea that R&B music can only be sung by Black people. Black people always want Whites to recognize them but they only want to recognize their own.
Congrats to Cardi b win and the Grammy announcement are less than 24 hours hopefully Cardi b get at least 3-4 Grammy nominations.
Wow they really like Bruno Mars. I cannot complain, talent wise he has pretty much been the best male in maisntream of the last 5-10 years.
