Exactly one week ago the Pop titans unleashed their ‘Perfect’ duet and now it looks poised to top music’s most coveted tally.

According to Billboard, the collaboration is essentially a shoo-in for #1 on the next issue of the Hot 100.
With the original presently sitting at #3 on the current count, preliminary data shows that the track will have been downloaded 160,000 times. A figure that easily packs a potent enough punch to push past any and all competition.
It’s been confirmed that sales of both versions of the song will be combined to determine its eventual chart placement. While the credit goes to whichever version contributed most.
As at writing, the BeyMix accounts for two-thirds of the song’s sales in the week – meaning Beyonce will be added on the Hot 100 as a credited artist.
If indeed the pair snatch the #1, it will become Ed’s second in the US (after the 12 week reign of ‘Shape Of You’).
For Bey, it’d serve as her 6th solo and 10th overall (when including her Destiny’s Child stats).
