Taylor Swift Serves Pinocchio Stiffness In First Performance Of ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ [Video]

Published: Saturday 2nd Dec 2017 by Sam

Taylor Swift has long had a ‘Reputation’ for selling by the bucketload and obliterating any and all competition on the charts.

Performing, however, has been tricky terrain.

In prior times, her candy coated Pop didn’t demand much from her on-stage. Yet, on her own volition, she upped the ante with lead single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ – a high-octane cut with a choreography driven video.

It immediately had us wondering whether she’d be able to replicate on stage without the benefit of cuts and edits.

The answer arrived last night at the Jingle Ball 2017. See how she fared with the first live showing of the song below…

Well that was pancake flat.

From the puppet like moves, to the D.O.A arrangement, and mute crowd, that was an unmitigated mess.

On the one hand, Taylor is the one laughing. After all, she snatched her fourth consecutive million selling debut and hit #1 with this very song.

However, as Katy Perry learned this year, letting the public catch on to one’s level of basic can be dangerously damaging. And arguably irreparable.

Very quickly she needs to decide whether to do better or focus on just singing and let the “magic” happen behind her.
